Michael Barr will be back on Thursday March 25th at 7:00 p.m. at the church. We have a few new sheets of info to add to the others that we have posted. These are demonstrating how to do laundry without power. Have fun experimenting!
We are women from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - the Slate Canyon 4th Ward. We are all varied in our talents and interests, and ages. With each Relief Society activity we have, we share these gifts to help bless the lives of the sisters in our ward and in our community and extended family and friends. We are helping each other develop talents, try new things, and educate ourselves to help us improve spiritually, physically, and with the challenges of daily living. This blog is to help us follow the counsel of our church leaders to be prepared for emergencies, whether they be natural disasters or financial, such as the loss of jobs. There are recipes for using your food storage-because there's no point in storing food you don't use or like, ideas on how to cook it-especially if there is no power, and ideas for living after a natural disaster. Even a recipe for laundry soap that really good and cheap. Many of the ideas are also great for those who love go camping.
